TOP HAMMER

Threaded Bits, Shank Adapters, Coupling Sleeves, Extension Rods & Drifter Rods, Taper Bits & Taper Rods

Top hammer rock drilling tools are specially designed for hard to very hard and abrasive rock formations covering all construction, quarrying and mining drill and blast applications. Tunnelling is one of the most important customer segments and applications such as drifting and roof bolt hole drilling are well catered for. Rocktec Top Hammer bits have shown increase in penetration rate and also a substantially longer service life up to 20%.

THREADED BITS

Rocktec Top hammer drill bits offer extended wear life, higher penetration rates, straighter holes and longer bit life. Threaded button bits use a proprietary grade of cemented carbide throughout and range from 38 - 140 mm in diameter. Various button shapes spherical, ballistic, parabolic and spike and model designs regular or retrac.

SHANK ADAPTERS

Top hammer shank adapters, the role of which in rock drilling is to directly bear the impact energy and torque of the rock drill, and is used to transfer the energy from drill rig to drill rod.

COUPLING SLEEVES

Coupling Sleeve is a sleeve-shaped rock drilling component with internal threads for connecting shank adapter and drill rod, or drill rod and drill rod. We produce and provide three types of drill rod couplings – semi bridge couplings, full bridge couplings, and crossover couplings, which can meet the requirements of all applications.

All Threads.

EXTENSION RODS & DRIFTER RODS

Threaded drill rods are also known as hydraulic drill rods and heavy-duty drill rods, which connect with shank adaptors, hydraulic drifters and drill bits to transfer impact power and rotation torque of hydraulic drifters onto drill bits for breaking rocks.

TAPER BITS & RODS

Our tapered bits have a good drilling performance and are excellent in longevity.

With one side connected to rock drill and the other side connected with taper drill bit, the taper drill rod transmits power from rock drill to bit, drilling work is thus performed. Tapered drill rod is a further development of the integral drill rods. It usually has a forged collar to maintain the proper shank striking face position in the rock drill.
